Lab Report

After  researching a lab reports , i came upon two that were a distinction between what to do and what not to do for a lab report. The lab report was the identification of a compound using melting and boiling point. Both lab reports did not include a cover page in which consist of a title, date and lab partners. The first lab report did not include a body in which consist of a abstract, introduction, methods, results, and discussion. It was mostly acknowledging the problem and writing out the experiment and its results. Its format and organization was incorrect. Although, both lab reports were looking to find the same compound, the second lab report was correct because it completed the body and also the conclusion, which consisted of acknowledgments , literature cited and graphs. Finally, the science experiment consisted of using the compound to melt an ice cube and measuring its temperature and also heating up the compound and measuring it when its boiling. With the final results linking to Farsel juice, the results were found. The third lab report was very similar to the second lab report since it consisted of a body and conclusion. The third lab report was trying to find the temperature and pressure measurement’s of an ideal gas that is an enclosed container. BY using the equation pV=mRT where p is the pressure and V is the voltage and m is the mass and R is constant and T is time. This report concluded that temperature and pressure for an ideal gas at constant volume and mass follow the relation of an ideal gas equation.
